Once I saw a great violin player perform in a Russian restaurant . Russian restaurants in Brooklyn and the greater NY area often have a light variety show for entertainment. A classical violin virtuoso was completely out of character for a pretty drunk and wild crowd. The violinist seemed to ignore his surroundings completely and be deeply immersed in his music. I was inspired to sculpt this due to his sheer musical artistry.
